Why celebrating IWD - I want to pay homage to women who came before me, who love and support me, and who I will uplift in the future. It is also important to show that each of us comes in different sizes and shapes and backgrounds and it is such a beautiful thing to celebrate.

“Embracing Self” - Embracing Self talks about my inner journey about coming to acceptance of my insecurities. Although I created art to empower women to feel confident and comfortable in their own skins and to break the narrow mainstream beauty standards for years, I am still a human with insecurities that also needs to be worked on. For me, it is an ongoing process since I’ve been hating myself for a long time. I slowly learn to nurture my gray hair, I learn to love my face scars and how I look. Embracing self is about embracing insecurities that we can love, we just have to shift our perspective to see ourselves in a new light.
